For my project, I decided to use one of Misty's 

glassine bags.  I thought it would be cute to put

a small teacher's gift into.  I am super happy with 

how it turned out! I hope you will like it as well....

September DT Project

Hi! Thanks for stopping by!  

Here is my DT project for September for MBT.

I was inspired by Miranda(MsLiberty25) and

Annie(MsGardenGrove1) on youtube to create

these stacked books!

I saw Miranda's video and knew I wanted to make some 

and then Annie made a tutorial on how to create the boxes themselves!

Thank you both for your wonderful inspiration!

I just love how it turned out!  I am really getting

into coloring the little girl images...This is a C.C. Designs 

one and she was so fun to color and paper piece.

For my project, I created a 3D box card that

I saw a tutorial on youtube from Anne who is

Everbloomingcrafts.  I just loved the dimension 

to this card and had to try it out!  LOL

I am super excited how it turned out!!

I usually don't use much purple and it

 was so fun to use this color.

For my project I created an altered bottle!

I had this really neat Bertolli Olive Oil bottle that

just screamed vintage to me, so I decided to really vintage it up!  LOL

I am super happy with how it turned out!  

It will look so pretty sitting on my shelf!

Creating the Crafty Life Take Me Away Blog Hop

We were supposed to create something that represented

vacations, destinations or places we would like to visit!

I chose to do a 6x12 mini album of my family vacation to

Grand Haven, Michigan this summer! We had an awesome time

there and just loved the beach adjacent to Lake Michigan!

We did a lot of fun things including going on a sand dune ride

in which the tallest dune was 350 feet high!  It was such a fun 

ride and we enjoyed every minute of it!  We also took a paddleboat 

ride on Lake Michigan and saw some super fabulous homes all along the 

coast.  On our last day there, we rented a speed boat and spent 4 hours

on Spring Lake.  All of us had the time of our lives!  I hope some of my 

pictures represent the great time had by all!
