My rendition:

I used the Autentique Genuine collection of papers for this card.  I just love this collection and thought it would make a great card.  I also used some of my navy blue buttons from my stash.  I used the Tim Holtz Alterations On the Edge die to create my scallop border.  I think it turned out cute!!

I really like this sketch also!  I like the layering that we had to use for this one.  It was a little tricky for me with getting the proportions right, but that is error on my part with measuring!!! LOL  Thanks so much Daisy for this opportunity to be in your blog hop!! I look forward to working with more of your sketches in the future!!

Today's daily sketch challenge is # 18

My rendition:

I used the DCWV Tres Chic Stack, pink cardstock I had in my stash, white flat back pearls, and my own handmade cardstock flower with rhinestone and pearl center.  I also used the MFT Eiffel Tower Die-Namics die and miscellaneous "bonjour" stamp.

I really liked the design of this sketch!  I love the ornate shape and the 3 layers of scallops.  It was very easy to work with and follow.  Daisy did an awesome job with it!!

Creating The Crafty Life(CCL) Spring Themed Card Challenge

Welcome to the CCL April Card Theme Challenge!

I am so happy that you could stop by!

I am happy to announce that I have been chosen to be on 

the CCL Creative Design Team!

Each month we will choose a theme(whether it be cards,layouts,colors,etc)

and everything that the creative design team posts 

will revolve around that theme.  This month the theme is cards,

so be on the lookout for more tips,techniques,tutorials,

and other exciting things coming to CCL!

This is my Happy Spring Card!

I used a Magnolia stamp and paper pieced her dress.

I made a cluster of flowers with the green one being

my own handmade cardstock rose...

I used the Paper Trey Ink Double Banner Die for 

the banner and used a yellow 1" butterfly from 

MBsTreasurista zibbet store

For the inside, I just used the same coordinating
paper and used the same Spellbinders die(Labels 10)

There will be a prize of a $5 gift card to the
MBsTreasurista store, so we hope you will

Exclusive DT Project for MBsTreasurista

Hello my friends!

Today I am showing you my 

design team project for MBsTreasurista.

I have had a ton of these little balsa boxes from Michael's.  

I have altered quite a few of them for others as gifts, but had 

never done one to keep for myself, 

so I decided to alter one for me!!  

I wanted it to kind of match my scrap room, so I went with 

a peachy/pink and green color combo. I love how it turned

out and I hope you do too!
