Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to The Paper Nest Dolls Challenge blog's monthly challenge.
For today's card, I wanted to make my dear husband a very special Valentine's card. In November we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and this makes our 21st Valentine's Day together. He means the world to me and we have had our ups and downs with our life together as he has been severely ill for the last 13 years with a very rare disease called Cushing's Disease. We had to travel all over the country to seek out the best medical care for him. He has had several surgeries and still has a brain tumor on his pituitary gland that will probably never go away. Cushing's Disease and the tumor it produced is not malignant but it wreaked havoc on his hormones. Anyways, I just wanted to let him know how very special he is to me and our 2 daughters. He means the world to me and I can never tell him enough how much I love him! I am so very thankful to the Lord for allowing me to have him here on Earth with me everyday! Life is so precious. We all need to make the most of the time with our loved ones as we never know when we will not be here to enjoy it with them.
So, I hope you will enjoy the card I made and we have this little joke between us that when one of us says, "I love you", the other always says, "Love you more". So I had to put that somewhere in the card. It is on the inside left panel.
I used this super cute stamp. I think she is just adorable with her little doggie too!
We have changed the way we will be awarding prizes from now on, and there will only be one prize for the overall winner. The top 3 will still be named and will still have the honor of displaying the Top 3 winner badge on their blog. From now on, the overall winner will win a $20 gift code to the Paper Nest Dolls online store, where they can purchase rubber stamps! If you are the overall winner, be sure to send a message to "firstname.lastname@example.org"and indicate in the subject line that you are the Monthly Winner.
Remember, the challenge here is always Anything Goes :)
Thanks for stopping by today!!
