MBsTreasurista Exclusive DT Project-May 2012

Hello! Here is this month's exclusive DT project for MBsTreasurista...
I am super excited to share with you my project.

 I purchased this wood book box from my local Goodwill store.
I saw it and knew it would be super cute for an altered project!

I used the K&Co. Julianne line of patterned papers.  This is my favorite
sheet from the stack.  I also used a sheet from the MME Madison Avenue
line of papers.

I wanted to make a photo box that I could place on my desk of my 2 daughters.  I wanted to remember the days gone by as they are both growing up so fast!  I just love how it turned out!

For my project, I made a card for my hubby this year...

My hubby loves airplanes and I thought this vintage style of the airplane

would be awesome for his card.  I hope he really likes it!

Mother's Day Altered Frames

Hello my friends!  I wanted to show you the altered frames I made my Mom and my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day.  I thought it would be nice for them to have a frame with a picture of their Mother's in it this year.  I am really happy how they turned out! Let me know what you all think.....

These are all of my Mother-in-law's Mother.....

And these are of my Mother's Mother....

I handmade all of the flowers on the frames except for the 

ivory ones at the bottom of the frame.  I absolutely loved

working on these projects and both the Mother's enjoyed them a lot!
